So I am going to try and write a blog post at least once every few weeks, maybe even weekly if I get into the habit of it. This way I can try and get myself into a routine.

Monday was pleasant. I went to see Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. It was epic. Couple of twists and such, but I won’t spoil it. Saved some money too, I bought snacks in Poundland, 4 bags of chocolate for £4, instead of £5 for one in the theatre!  Loved it. Can’t wait for Fantastic Beasts 3!!

It wasn’t an eventful week. Until Tuesday, when I saw some flashing lights outside of the window. Didn’t think anything of it. Then a police helicopter. Again, didn’t think anything of it. Then I saw something out the corner of my eye, like a weird light flashing. So I had a look out of the window and it was a policeman walking the street with a torch. I glanced up the road and saw police tape, looked down the other way, and more tape. We were cordoned off.

Cut to me talking to the family in NZ, and my brother told me what had happened, because we had no idea. Someone had been shot at the bottom of the road.

We were still cordoned off the day after, and I don’t know when exactly it was removed, but not much been on the news about it.

Course is going well, I think. This may change, but for now, that’s for another blog.

Long Lost Foods

  • Rice Crispie Squares – Forgot how great they are
  • Toffee Crisps – I’ve had them a few times, but still worth a mention.
